The impact of MFV’s recent commitment to eye health in collaboration with World Health Organisation (WHO):
- Mission Disha (Eye Health and Workplace) 1,540+ workers intervened
- Mission Jeevan (Retinoblastoma/Pediatric Eye Cancer Programme) 7 new children enrolled.
- Mission Nayan (Retinopathy of Prematurity (ROP) Programme) 20 Neonates intervened
- Mission Netra (Eradicating blindness due to cataract) 56,000+ cataract surgeries enabled
- Mission Saksham (a programme for skill-development and training for Allied Ophthalmic Personnel (AOP) 700+ students trained/in training
- Mission Jyoti – 9 new vision centers established, 172,000 Eye services enabled, 10,460+ spectacles dispensed, 7,400+ Eye surgeries enabled (at no cost) and etc etc.
